As you walk in there'll usually be a few people to say 'G'Day', and if your child is going to join in with MBC Kids, they'll direct you to a table where you can check your child in. After a couple of songs and a talk for kids, the leaders of MBC Kids will invite children to join in the kids program which runs in the room next door. MBC Kids is a fun, safe, age-appropriate chance for kids to meet Jesus on their level! Kids learn in creative environments that match their curiosity. Through singing, interactive Bible stories, and hands-on activities, the bible comes alive and kids discover what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

The service kicks off at 10:30AM but we recommend rocking up from 10:00AM, to give you time to check-in your child and grab a cuppa and a feed.

When checking-in your child on arrival we will ask for their age, any health concerns, and your mobile number so that we can contact you in case you are needed during the service. We also require that you sign your kid out when you pick them up.

We're glad you asked! Safety is a top priority. We know we wouldn't leave our kids with just anyone and we don't expect you to either. Every MBC Kids leader has completed "Safe Ministry Training" and have undergone a "Working with Children Check" screening process which includes reference checks. However, MBC Kids is more than just a physically safe place, it is also an emotional and spiritually safe place. We are a place where kids can ask tough questions and be in a relationship with leaders and other kids who support and care for each other. The church service and MBC Kids run at the same time and usually go for around an hour and a half. Afterwards, lots of folks stick around to share a nice feed together (free of charge).
